Reverse Chronology Reversed

Typically blog entries are posted in reverse chronological order so that the most recent entry appears first.   

Now that the trip is over, presumably anyone reading this blog would like the sequence of entries to lead them from the beginning to the end of our trip.  For this reason, I have used artificial dates and times to put the posts in that order.  Any date in a title is accurate, it is just the date posted that has been altered.  

When you get to the bottom of a page, clicking OLDER POSTS will actually lead you to newer dates (i.e. the continuation of blog post in chronological order). 

Enlarging Images

In my past two travel blogs image (e.g. picture) quality has been a frustration when the entry was created on my iPad. If I enlarged a picture it became grainy. In this blog I have opted to keep image size modest while incorporating the ability to see a larger image without the graininess.

To see a larger version of the image "click/tap image to enlarge it - use BACK to return to blog". I cannot be more precise in the instructions because of the variety of hardware and software that can be used to view this blog, so you may need to experiment a bit the first time you try it.

You will note that image quality still reflects some reduction in file size. This is a compromise between fast upload speeds in good wi-fi locations and the abysmally slow speeds we will experience on the ship at $.40 per minute. The connect time cost on the ship is also why I use my iPad and BlogPress; I can compose my posts offline.
