The trip has begun.
Today we got as far as Logan Airport in Boston where we will spend the night prior to catching an early morning flight tomorrow.
A potentially severe winter storm that mid-week looked like it might cause problems has dissipated. Without hurrying, we were ready to leave before our driver arrived and he arrived early. The trip to the hotel was uneventful and we have a comfortable room. We have yet to think of anything significant we have forgotten. Hopefully these are harbingers of a good trip.
The plan for the rest of the day is an early dinner - last chance for a real cheeseburger - and early to bed.
The staff member checking us in at the hotel pointed out that we could walk over to our flight terminal in the morning. The man cleanly had not seen the stack of luggage bowing the wheels of the bellman's cart. We will be utilizing the shuttle and hoping to find a skycap at the terminal that early on a Sunday morning.
