The process of getting from our hotel in Lisbon to our home was uneventful. The driver at each end was ready and waiting. Both our flights were on schedule with only occasional minor turbulence while airborne.
The cold I have been fighting since Oman spent the day kicking my butt, probably irritated by cabin pressure. Thankfully on the flight across the Atlantic there was no one sitting near enough to me that they were trying to hold their breath for the entire flight.
Regardless of fighting my cold, a few dull tours and towards the end some marginal weather, it was a great trip.
Having declared it such, it is time to go sleep in our own bed, Pam already there and dead to the world. Here's hoping we don't walk up at 6:00 AM Lisbon time.
