Yesterday morning (March 05) found us in the Andaman Sea. Later that morning we passed between two of
the Nicobar Islands – part of India although well to the east of Indian
mainland. The ship continued
approximately due west.
Today we continue due west toward Colombo, Sri Lanka. The seas remain calm, the sun hot and the
humidity high. A few minutes ago a small
fishing vessel passed by looking very tiny so far from any shore.
Tomorrow we begin a four day inland trip in India. I hope to keep up with daily blog postings,
but whether I will be able to do so remains to be seen. If not, I will have some catching up to do
after we depart Mumbai the night of March 11.
